Content delivery world computer secured by smart contracts and powered by an incentivized distributed network
StreamSpace was founded in 2016 in Austin, Texas. StreamSpace is headquartered in Downtown Austin at: 919 Congress Ave , Suite. 910.
A key differentiator of the platform is the StreamSpace distributed Content Delivery Network (dCDN), where nodes are compensated for storing and delivering content. For example, someone could monetize the extra computing power on their home PC by becoming a StreamSpace Curator and delivering encrypted content to consumers. In the future, StreamSpace envisions a content distribution application built on top of this dCDN where smart contracts enforce transactions between creators and consumers, and a powerful recommendation engine ensures commercialization of popular content.
Blockchain technology is used by StreamSpace to incentivize its distributed content delivery network. To learn more about Blockchain, please visithttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blockchain.
StreamShares are the incentivization mechanism behind the distributed content delivery network.
StreamShares are not mined using Proof of Work. To become a Curator, please view our whitepaper.
Blockchain technology provides an immutable ledger of all of the microtransactions responsible for data served on the network. Without blockchain, the incentivization mechanism behind the dCDN would fail.
We plan to launch our distributed content delivery network in 2019.
